What is the key to successful weight loss?
 
Despite new diets coming on the market every day and advice about diet and nutrition, which is often inconsistent, being given, the only real key to successful weight loss has been known for a long time. All of the well-known nutrition experts agree that it is not the kind or the combination of nutrients that play the deciding role in a person being overweight. You can just eat fat and would still lose weight, as long as you eat, for example, 1500 calories in the form of pure fat, if your body needs 1700 calories.

It is really only the "Energy Balance" that decides if you gain, lose or maintain your weight!

If you eat more calories per day than you burn, you will gain weight. To keep your weight stable you have to eat the exact amount of calories that you use.
You will only lose weight when you have a so-called “negative energy balance,” i.e. consuming less calories than you burn.

AIQUM follows the direct path and uses scientifically proven principles about the energy balance to help you to lose weight quickly and safely.
 

What is the energy balance?
 
People often wrongly blame the fat or carbohydrates for making them fat and so “fat” points are counted and the Glycaemic Index (GI) is calculated and so on. Then people wonder why they still don’t lose weight!

That’s why the Energy Balance (calorie calculation) is the recognised method for successfully losing weight! Simply the amount of calories that you eat decides if we lose or gain weight! It is not important if the calories are
from fat or carbs too!

Therefore, the "Energy Balance" is at the heart of our method, which involves a simple calculation:

The amount of calories that I have eaten minus the number of calories that I burn. Even when the body is doing nothing it burns calories by maintaining bodily functions and if you exercise then the amount of calories burned increases accordingly.
If your total calorie intake is more than the amount of calories you need, or if you burn more, then this decides whether you gain or lose weight.  As soon as you burn approx. 7000 calories more than your body needs, then you will lose a kilo. The other way around is also true, if your calorie intake is approx. 7000 calories more than you really need, you will gain approx. 1 kilo.  The AIQUM Method ("FDM" Flexible Diet Method). Is based exactly on these facts and makes losing weight for you much easier in many ways.
 

What can AIQUM do for me?
 
AIQUM treats your problems with your figure very personally and individually. Let us know your target weight and we will make sure that you reach this simply, quickly, healthily and most importantly maintain it.

We have reserved your own password-protected webpage at AIQUM for you. Because of your very personal target and related conditions, we will make a nutrition and diet plan on your webpage to help you on your way to success. It follows scientific rules, which however, are not too complicated for you to follow. 

At the beginning and then every 2 weeks, we will do a little “Figure Test” to plot and document your success.

Directly after your Figure Test you will get your diet and exercise plans for the next 2 weeks. You can see the test results as a graph in your own Private Archive. This will give you a good overview, and last but not least, it will motivate you.

If you like, you can also increase your progress by using our fitness support, which has been tailor made to fit your needs and is based on scientific knowledge. You can askfor individual fitness training exercises. These range from exercises for problems zones to exercises for the the spine and come with videos.
You can decide whether or not you remain anonymous or join a Community. AIQUM offers both and is one big community of people who are on the same path and who support each other on their way to success.

As well as fitness training, my hobbies also include martial arts and I have a 1st dan in Kickboxing. I also like to ride my motorbike and meet friends in my spare time.
I have been working in the fitness branch as a fitness trainer and nutritionist for 8 years (last step is as a manager of a fitness studio). Since I was twelve I have been bitten by the “fitness bug.”
I have been able to try out the complete scope of fitness and therapeutic sports, from fitness training to body and strength training and in the process, I have gathered, in my opinion, a mountain of experience.
I really found a passion and hobby in nutritional and dietary consultations.

AIQUM – What method lies behind it?
 
Very effective, practical, ideal for daily use, uncomplicated and naturalistic….this is how you could describe the AIQUM Method in a nutshell. 

AIQUM is an innovative and tested, complete system for the healthy, quick and uncomplicated solving of weight problems and is based on scientintic facts.

Behind it are a young team of experienced nutrition and fitness experts, who deal with the problems with your figure individually. They advise you during your weight loss period, until you have reached your target, so that you can reach your dream figure simply, quickly and healthily.

Our programme has been recommended by Men’s Health, Tomorrow and Today’s Woman amongst others (see Newspapers/Press). Our programme is based upon the latest findings of the Nutrition Society. The Method:

Our exercise plans are based on the latest sports science guidelines.

At the same time you will get a glimpse of the time it will take you to lose your weight and reach your target and in the form of a diagram showing a prognosis of your results.
You do not have to change anything; the plans have been tailor-made for you and fit to both you and your goal perfectly. They are also really easy to follow and carry out. In keeping with our “Flexible Diet Method” you can organise and change your diet and exercise plans in the AIQUM Calendar, depending on what you want, day to day. If you do not like one or more of the meals, then no problem, replace it with another one. You can choose from thousands of tasty recipes.!

As well as this, you can take part in our behavioural training, which takes place in combination with a diary and helps to ease you into a healthy lifestyle. 

The first two weeks will be before you know it, you have already seen your first successful steps, got to know a lot of new friends and done another follow up Figure Test. Now you will get to see the details of how successful you were in the previous 2 weeks. We repeat the figure test as part of your analysis every 2 weeks so that we can analyse your success for you and file it away too. This allows us to get an overview of your nutrition and fitness plans taking your development into account, but for you it is a testament to your success and is amazing motivation for you. You can follow the test results, in the form of diagrams, in your private area throughout your membership. You automatically receive your new diet and, if you like, exercise plans after your Figure Test.
 

What is the "FDM"?
 
„FDM“ is the abbreviation for the “Flexible Diet Method” that we developed. Daily life is not always straightforward. There is an art to juggling working life, private life and dieting. This is exactly where our “FDM”comes into play: it makes losing weight practical and easy for you, as it is so realistic and can be used in daily life, unlike other kinds of diets!

Even serious diets usually fail for the simplest reason, that it is difficult to integrate them into your daily life in the long-term. That’s why we think that a diet is only perfect when:

a)   it’s principle is based on the true key to losing weight and
b)   the diet is not only healthy, but it can be integrated into your daily life.
